What started as a casual night out turned into a life-changing moment. In the winter of 2016, Neuroxx unsuspectingly attended a Blackout event in Utrecht, unaware that this evening would ignite a lifelong passion. He wasn’t deeply familiar with neurofunk yet, but the dark energy, the rolling basslines, and the pure chaos of the genre hit him instantly. From that night on, there was no turning back. “This is fucking awesome,” he thought, and a new obsession was born.

Not long after, the Enschede-based artist began diving deep into mixing neurofunk himself. During the covid period, he took the time to refine his craft, dedicating countless hours to perfecting his skills and building his own sound. By the summer of 2022, he made his official debut at Kortsluiting in Enschede,  a first taste of the stage that would quickly lead to more. His sets evolved fast, growing tighter and more dynamic with every performance, soon taking him beyond his hometown and into venues across the Netherlands.

By 2025, Neuroxx had fully honed his style, a sound defined by deep groove, rolling basslines, and an unmistakable nod to the Czech neurofunk wave currently sweeping through Europe. Influenced by artists like PRDK, Zigi SC, and Raido, his sets blend precision with movement, always keeping the crowd locked into that relentless rhythm.

For Neuroxx, it’s all about the groove. That perfect flow between aggression and control, darkness and danceability. From a curious visitor at Blackout to a name now echoing across the Dutch neurofunk scene, he’s proof that one night can truly change everything.
